In 2009 a former representative of Buffet and Besson instruments contacted Blue Ridge Music to check on our interest in Olds instruments.  It was back in 1965 when I received my first Olds Ambassador cornet to start beginning band.  It's a completely different company now from the glory days in Fullerton California at the factory that produced hundreds of thousands of sturdy and reliable student and pro horns.
